I met (by Zoom) with three members of the Salem Public Library staff today. Camerata’s long-standing sponsor relationship with the Library is no longer; the new director instead is initiating “partnership” programs in which a Library staff member will be present – and maybe participate somehow. But no such programs can be Sunday afternoons because Library staff members are not available then. Camerata can rent Loucks Auditorium Sunday afternoons at $100 per concert, but not make reservations more than three months in advance. – George Struble
