Sarah Kwak has been Concertmaster of the Oregon Symphony since 2012. She is renowned for her lyrical depth, thoughtful phrasing, myriad shadings of tone and easy technical prowess, not only in the Oregon Symphony but in many solo performances around Oregon, including previous concerts with Camerata Musica.
Nancy Ives has been principal cellist with the Oregon Symphony since 2000. She also performs with fEARnoMUSIC, Chamber Music Northwest, 45th Parallel, Portland Piano International Summer Festival, Third Angle, Pink Martini, and Portland Cello Project. She is also Instructor of Chambe Music at Lewis & Clark College.
Susan Smith is Associate Professor of Music and Department Chair at Lewis & Clark College. A native of Portland, she earned her Doctor of Musical Arts at the Eastman School of Music. She has performed as soloist many places, and is highy regarded as a chamber musician.
